Obituary for Agnes Liddell Lee (Liddell)
Agnes L. Lee, 96, of Kilmarnock, Virginia passed away on December 5, 2018.
She is survived by her son, James Lee (Twila) of Harrisonburg, Va.; granddaughters, Kelley McLean of Richmond, Va. and Katherine Fowlkes of Harrisonburg, Va.; six great grandchildren, Keegan Jett, Caleb Jett, Liam McLean, Harper McLean, Helen Fowlkes and Jacob Fowlkes; and two nephews, Charles Lee (Anita) and Ron Beattie (Cheryl). She was preceded in death by her husband, William Edward Lee and her daughter, Donna Lee Gulbranson.
Agnes was a WWII Army veteran and a longtime member of Kilmarnock United Methodist Church. She worked as a nurse for Dr. Lamberth and Dr. Goode and until she retired she was the County school nurse. She also volunteered for the Northern Neck Free Health Clinic and the Kilmarnock Museum and was a member of the American Legion Adams Post # 86.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p. m. Sunday, December 9, 2018 at Currie Funeral Home, Kilmarnock, Va.. Interment will follow the service at Historic Christ Church Burying Ground. Family will receive friends 3:00 to 5:00 p. m. Saturday, December 8, 2018 at the funeral home.
