Obituary for Clarence Eugene "Buddy" Barrack III

Clarence Eugene Barrack, III, 80, was born October 23, 1938 in Alfonso, Virginia and died February 27, 2019 at Lancashire Convalescent and Rehabilitation Center in Kilmarnock, Virginia. Clarence known to many as "Buddy" was the son of Clarence Eugene Barrack, Jr. and Anna "Goldie" Bush Barrack of Alfonso. He was a member of Lebanon Baptist Church.

He was a graduate of Lively High School in 1957. Continuing his education at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and Richmond Professional Institute of the College of William and Mary receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Distribution Education and taught school upon graduating. In 2012 he was awarded his 50th year alumni pin.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Dinkins Barrack and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Barrack, Jr. Survivors include two brothers, Lawrence William Barrack of Kilmarnock and Jackie Rice Barrack (Robin) of Alfonso; sister, Bettie B. George of Alfonso; niece, Margaret Branson George of Alfonso; two nephews, Christopher and Jonathan Barrack of Richmond and a great niece, Kaitlyn Mattea George of Mechanicsville.

A funeral service will be held 3:00 p. m. Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Lebanon Baptist Church, Alfonso. Interment will follow the service in the church cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Rev. Carlton Milstead, Jr. will be officiating. Pallbearers will be Billy Barrack, Christopher Barrack, Jonathan Barrack, Bill Bush, Bobby Nolting and Norman Bush. Honorary pallbearers will be Carl Jones, Jimmy Kenner, Johnny Lewis, Doug Bush, Billy Lewis and Edward Beane.
