Obituary for Donald Smith "Donnie" Landon
Donald "Donnie" S. Landon, 81, of Kilmarnock, Virginia passed away on December 26, 2018. He was the widower of Peggy Landon.
He is survived by four children, Sheryl Allen of White Stone, Peggy George (Scott) of Lancaster, Butch George (Judy) of Virginia Beach and Bruce George (Wanda) of Virginia Beach; grandchildren, Josh Conkle, Jeremy Conkle, Kara Everett, Kori George and Kerstin Allen; Great grandchild Landon Wiley; sisters, Andy Blake (Kenny) of Weems and Mabel Knierim (Marty) of Crisfield, Md. and sister-in-law, Sharron Crandall of Kilmarnock. He was preceded in death by his mother Ida Dise Turlington, step father, Jimmy L. Turlington and father, Curtis Smith Landon.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 p. m. Monday, December 31, 2018 at Currie Funeral Home, Kilmarnock. Interment will be private. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
