I was deeply saddened to hear of Ed’s passing -- he was truly one of "the good guys." I really enjoyed playing golf with Ed -- he was always a gentleman. The last time I played golf in Virginia with the ole Quinton Oaks gang, I had the privilege of being paired with Ed, Bob Price and Dick Anderson. A good time was had by all during the round and there were some cold beers consumed afterwards. Ed was a very good golfer who was always quick with a smile and a positive person. They say when a close friend unexpectedly leaves us, a piece of our heart is forever broken. I know that I am just one of the many of Ed’s Quinton Oaks golf buddies that feel they lost a piece of their heart.

My deepest condolences.
