Obituary for George Kenneth McNeal
George K. McNeal, 77, of Irvington, Virginia passed away on August 22, 2019, son of the late, Philip and Etta McNeal. He was a member of Irvington Baptist Church.
He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Shirley W. McNeal; daughters, Michele M. Haynie (Richard), Amy M. Grubbs (Leroy) and Heidi McNeal (Ron); stepsons, Todd Rice (Laurie) and Craig Rice; 10 grandchildren, Trey Haynie (Bekki), Ryan Haynie, Tanner Grubbs, Dylan Lambert, Mathew McNeal, Bailey McNeal, Travis Rice, Jason Rice (Tesia), Adam Rice and Joanna Rice; 2 great grandchildren, Abigail Rice and Emma Mae Rice; three sisters, Frances Boswell, JoAnn Morris and Debbie Stosch and brother, Dennis McNeal.
George was a loving husband, father and Pop Pop. He will be greatly missed.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p. m. Sunday, August 25, 2019 at Irvington Baptist Church. Interment will follow the service in the church cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p. m. Saturday, August 24, 2019 at Currie Funeral Home.
