Obituary for Jackie Lynn Oren
Jackie Lynn Oren, 44, of Weems, Virginia passed away on September 7, 2019. Jackie received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from the University of Pittsburgh and her Masters of Science in Nursing at the University of Virginia, Charlottesville. She was a Nurse Practitioner for Bay Internist and a member of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her husband, Craig Oren; four children, Grace, Kayla, Logan and Elijah; mother, Jeanette Framiglio; step father, Mark Framiglio; sisters, Cathy Beesley, and Nicole Framiglio; nephew, Tristan Beesley; sister-in-law, Lania Oren-Nicol and her children, Austin, Aiden, and Ashlyn; brother-in-law, Thad Oren and his daughter, Sara Hidalgo (Leandro) and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Larry Craig.
Jackie was a dedicated wife and mother. She loved all of her children with all her heart and had always worked to instill the necessary skills for them to grow into well-educated adults. She served her community and her church. She was deeply committed to her patients and valued the relationships that formed. In her spare time, she loved traveling with her family, hiking, and reading. Jackie had a passion for experiencing life with her family and never missed an opportunity to acquire knowledge to share with her children.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a. m. Saturday, September 14, 2019 at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, Kilmarnock, Va. Interment will follow the service at Woodlawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends 4-7 p. m. Friday, September 13, 2019 at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Andrews Presbyterian Church to benefit Reach Mission Trip or Journey to Bethlehem, P. O. Box 1366, Kilmarnock, VA 22482.
