Obituary for Madeline Taft Coates
Madeline Taft Coates, 84, of Lancaster, Virginia passed away on February 9, 2019 with her loving family by her side.
She is survived by her daughter, Shirley C. Bailey (Jack) of Lancaster; son, Louis Coates ( Patricia) of Caroline; four grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and one great- great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry A. "Slim" Coates, Jr.; daughter, Sandra Darlene Coates and great grandson, Trevor Smith.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 p. m. Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Bethel United Methodist Church, Lively, Virginia.
