Obituary for Mamie Parks Cooke (Parks)
Mamie Parks Cooke, 92, of Lancaster, Virginia passed away peacefully on October 13, 2019. She was born on October 7, 1927. She was a devoted wife,loving mother and grandmother.
She is survived by two sons, Allen Boyd Cooke (Charlotte) and Robert W. Cooke (Dorothy); eight grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; one great-great grandson; and a sister, Edna Revere. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd F. Cooke, Jr; her son, Joseph F. Cooke and her great grandson, William Hunter Cooke.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p. m. Thursday, October 17, 2019 at Corrottoman Baptist Church, Ottoman. Interment will follow the service at Corrottoman Baptist Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6:00 -8:00 p. m. Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at Currie Funeral Home, Kilmarnock.
