William Grover Rose ,was born to the late Richard Arnold and Vivian Pearl Rose on July 8, 1946. He was the youngest of their three sons and is survived by his two older brothers Richard Rose II and Tommy Rose. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife Wanda Marie Rose; three children, William Rose II (Juliann Hawk), Sabrina Roberts (Floyd Roberts), Amanda Wilson (Adrian Wilson); two stepchildren, Andy Fuentez (Jacqueline Fuentez) and Richard Penberthy (Amanda Penberthy); eleven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He served his country in the Army. He was a highly respected and hard working building contractor. He enjoyed spending time with family, friends, dancing, listening to Elvis songs and trips to the Bahamas. He succumbed to a lengthy battle with cancer on September 15, 2019. Family will be accepting visitors Thursday, September 19, 2019 from 6-8 pm at Currie Funeral Home, Kilmarnock, Virginia. Funeral services will be held 2:00 Friday, September 20, 2019 at Wesley Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 1272 Taylor's Creek Road, Weems, Virginia 22576.
